Welcome, neighbors. I’m honored to serve our district—and all Vermonters—in Montpelier. Below is my announcement regarding the 2026 election.
I’m proud to announce my candidacy to continue representing East Milton and Westford in the Vermont House.
When I entered the Legislature in 2025, Vermonters were still absorbing the 13.9% tax increase tied to the Yield Bill. I heard from families, seniors, and small business owners who were already stretched thin, and that experience shaped my work from day one. I also listened closely to concerns about Act 181 — especially the Tier 3 provisions and the road rule — and I’m proud that rural voices made a difference. While the law wasn’t repealed, the adjustments in S.325 and the Burtt amendment showed that speaking up matters and that bipartisan cooperation is still possible.
During my first term, I supported legislation aimed at strengthening public safety, improving access to mental‑health resources, and helping rural Vermonters and farmers. I also backed measures focused on affordability and responsible budgeting, including efforts to manage education costs and support small businesses. My goal has been to make practical, steady decisions that reflect the needs of the people I serve.
I’m running for re-election because I believe Vermont needs steady, practical leadership that keeps affordability at the center. I’m not afraid to ask tough questions about the cost of legislation and what it means for working Vermonters. My years on the Milton School Board (nine years), the Select Board (eight years), and my experience in business have prepared me to manage budgets responsibly and to look closely at how decisions in Montpelier affect everyday life — from the price of groceries to the ability to stay in our homes.
I remain optimistic about what we can accomplish together. Vermont can move forward in a way that is both fiscally responsible and fair, and I will continue to advocate for policies that support families, protect rural communities, and keep our state affordable.
I would be honored to earn your support in November.
