Brenda Steady of Milton, Vermont, serves the Chittenden-25 district in the Vermont House of Representatives, proudly representing the communities of East Milton and Westford. Married for 45 years, she is the mother of two adult sons and grandmother to one. The youngest of six children, Brenda is a lifelong Milton resident and graduate of Milton High School and Champlain College.
Her career spans education, small business, and public service—including work in the Milton School District, insurance, and real estate. She has served as a Justice of the Peace, school trustee, and Selectboard member, and remains active in civic life through the Order of the Eastern Star and other volunteer efforts. Based on the last legislative session, Brenda has gained valuable experience from her service on the House Human Services Committee, strengthening her ability to address issues that matter most to Vermonters. She is deeply committed to making Vermont more affordable for families, seniors, and small businesses, while protecting the vulnerable in our communities.
